Challenge
Gaming headset market was highly competitive with tight console transition timelines. Needed to coordinate with contract manufacturers in China while maintaining market leadership during Xbox/PlayStation generation change.
My Role
Director of Engineering - Built and led new engineering team, coordinated with contract manufacturers in China, oversaw R&D, PRDs, and DFM for high-volume consumer electronics audio hardware.
Approach
Directed end-to-end execution across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams. Managed 900MHz wireless technology integration, audio quality optimization, and manufacturing coordination with Chinese partners to deliver multiple product lines.
