Overview
Invented and patented HEARGLASS AR wearable Smart Glasses integrating HiFi hearing aids into eyeglasses with Bluetooth connectivity and iOS app control. Awarded 2 US Patents.
Challenge
Hearing aids lacked modern UX and weren't integrated with everyday eyewear. Users needed discrete, high-quality hearing assistance with smartphone control.
My Role
Technical Product Manager (4yr contract) - Invented product concept, managed multi-disciplinary development across hardware (PCB/embedded), firmware (BLE/Microchip), and software (iOS). Led SAFe-style milestone coordination and backlog prioritization.
Approach
Designed AR Smart Glasses with integrated HiFi hearing aids, Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity, and iOS app for control and customization. Coordinated hardware (PCB design, embedded systems), firmware (BLE, Microchip processors), and software (iOS app) development with distributed teams.
